Meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China
On September 22nd, the acting head of the UCBC’s Ukrainian Part, Ambassador Ihor Lytvyn, met and held meaningful talks with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine, Mr. Fan Xianrong, at his invitation. Issues related to the large-scale activities of the UCBC were discussed, in particular, joint activities planned with Chinese partners by the end of this year, as well as actions devoted to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ukraine(January 4, 2022). The Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine was acquainted in detail with the current work of the UCBC aimed at creating favorable conditions for the establishment and further expansion of effective production cooperation with relevant Ukrainian business structures of several reputable Chinese state corporations - SINOMACH, SINOTRUK, XCMG and others. Preparations for the online meeting of the leadership of UCBC both parts in the second half of November this year, together with a business forum and bilateral B2B talks with member-companies of Harbin International Trade Promotion Committee, on the one hand, and representatives of business structures. CCI of Ukraine and regional chambers of commerce and industry of several regions of Ukraine were discussed in detail. The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China was invited to take part in the event with a welcome speech. The issue of providing active support to joint efforts to restore mass tourism exchange after the lifting of quarantine restrictions in connection with the pandemic, including taking into account the potential for interregional cooperation, was also considered.
The meeting was also attended by Ms. Zhao Li, Adviser-Envoy for Trade and Economic Affairs, and Mr. Roman Hryshchenko, Member of the Coordinating Committee of the UCBC Ukrainian Part.
