"On April 27, the acting co-chairman of the Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council(UCBC), Ambassador Ihor Lytvyn, met and held talks on bilateral cooperation with the newly appointed Minister-Counselor for Trade and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Ukraine, Ms. Zhao Li. The issues of cooperation between the Trade and Economic Department of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine and the Secretariat & Coordinating Committee of the Ukrainian part of the UCBC, the joint activities of both (Ukrainian and Chinese) UCBC Parts in a pandemic were discussed, in particular the preparation and implementation of joint plans for the current year. events with the participation of representatives of business circles of both countries. The course of implementation of a number of joint projects in various fields with the participation of large Chinese state corporations was considered, in particular the Chinese National Corporation of Machine-Building Industry / SINOMACH (project of supply to Ukraine of a wide range of agricultural machinery, its service, including mobile), final assembly of relevant equipment manufactured by SINOMACH Corporation by Ukrainian partner companies’ enterprises), Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Corporation (participation in the program of modernization of the fire extinguishing equipment park of the State Emergency Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine), China National Corporation for Foreign Economic Cooperation (monorail road construction project in Kyiv) , the program of export support of needs of the industry of Ukraine in high-quality machines with software digital control) and other widely known Chinese companies. The issues of implementation of the decisions adopted at the 4th meeting of the Commission on Cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the State Council of the People's Republic of China on December 23, 2020 and a number of other issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, first of all cooperation were considered".
